Hi, had come back from Bali yesterday, and the first thing that I want to write is about Bali's beach.
I dont understand, why so many people come to Bali just to see its beach. hmm, maybe you think, "hey you're Indonesian why you say like that?"
I just want to share, I dont want people expect too much for those beaches, Bali still has the other beautiful places right ? I mean, they -foreign tourist-, should know if they want to see a beautiful beach, they can go to another place, still in Indonesia, not only in Bali, for example like going to Gunung Kidul which has some -really- beautiful beach and the location is not far from Yogyakarta, it only need 2 hours driving from the city.
ok, back to Bali.
and you know, after checking some blogs -not indonesian's blog-, they also think like I do. here one of the statements that I read,
"Sanur beach was pretty disappointing. There was a massive sewerage pipe going straight into the water, which is probably why the water didn’t seem too clean!"
I went to 3 beach in Bali, Kuta, Dreamland, and Padang Padang Beach which my driver said that it was the location for Eat, Pray, Love movie. You know, before I arrive, I already imagine how beautiful those beaches would be, buut....hm, okay, I expected too much. dissapointing.
but it's okay, I won't blame anyone, Im just wishing that it'll will be fixed as soon as possible. I mean, the government -which manage Bali tourism- will act quickly. Im just worry that one day many people in this world will think that Bali is not worthy to visit.
and please please for anyone, please keep police the beach, please keep the beach clean and beautiful.
